corner view ≈ old, new, borrowed, blue

is it me who's rambling on about my new, old house at times? did i borrow money to get this house, and does it ever make me blue?

i'm making it up as i go along! not being married, this old new borrowed blue tradition is an occurrence which hasn't passed my way. yet. {nub of floor tile as shown here, borrowed from nature, would you believe it?}

so improv time is mine and here's as close as i could get to blue underwear. thrifted lately, extra long undershirt from the fifties {and belgian!}. durable, came in the original cellophane wrap. bingo on the old, new!

    So many of us live outside of those traditions. If I think of all the ones I missed...eek! Making it up as you go along...yep! Makes for great stories:)

    I like that people create their own little traditions and rituals ; )

    and you won't believe it ( 'cause I'm home with tewo sick kids, but I draw my butterflies already! I do think though they look a bit ...drunk for some reason : D

    What beautiful floor tiles! You could nearly sell them as pieces of the Berlin wall! And as I read of your man's new old underwear, I was glad to find out it was a Shirt and not sexy ribbed Long Johns (also known as "tighty whity", what a delightful term!)! ;oD

    You need to locate the man wearing the bottoms to your undershirt :-) Unless, he bought them in the fifties and has been wearing them ever since....
