it's happened to me before. i stroll and lounge

(and dip away from raindrops), and all that i can find is of the non portable kind. which is why i would love salvage grounds or brocante warehouses. which is why i do refrain from visiting them.

my ♥ would tear apart, i fear. but then there are times when you know you will come closeby anyway, and you endure.

last but not least, when a miniature replica will be made of this museum, i'm gonna get me one. a replica, that is. which will not be vintage at all, not in my time, i realize. flea market finds.

  1. Aaah, Antwerp,
    dear Nadine,
I like that town very much. Has you been in the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal?
And: For me Antwerp is the combination of my hometown Hamburg and Amsterdam.

I'm a nostalic woman, you know that, but I don't wanna get caught on ancient times. I'm searching for a way to keep the pretty old into present. The belgians are master of it, aren't they?

Those building of Museum aan de Stroom I like to have as an miniature replica too!

Thank you for showing and sharing,

    hugs,
    Ariane.

(You mean 'fallen wooden angEL', don't you?)

I have to pick her up and drive her home, so I know that part is safe.

  3. non portable treasures are hard to leave behind. I still remember the gorgeous (and non-portable) grandfather clock I saw once in a thrift market ...
