Oh, dear Nadeschda, I love your humor! Its a deep one, sometimes a black one... But for me the line 'smile, if we we'll see our house rising like a Phoenix' is a bittersweet, optimistic humor, isn't it!
If we will meet, may I feel your biceps?
Now I have an earworm of Nat, thank you, honey! Love, Ariane.
Ah yes! Nat King Cole - this is very good smiling through ache and mischief so true and now I have this song in my head so I am smiling too! Thank You!
Ha, this made me smile and if I tell you why, maybe you also have to smile... ;o) First of all your great drawing reminds me of the rollings stones mouth, still smiling just before the tongue gets out! Haha. Then I read the lyrics and what came into my mind wasn't good-old Nat, but Queen's "The show must go on", which is somehow fitting the context, too. You know, I'm a bit Queen-traumatised, my Ex loved them and I never did, even if I have to admit they did some great songs. Unfortunately I now have some important memories of my life connected with Queen, and this makes me smile! SO you see what weird thoughts come out in others by your drawings...haha!
Can you see the smile on my face??
