i didn't know about arnold circus until last night. i ran an old taped program on london streets, and there it popped up, in all its round square gorgeousness. tucked away in the east shoreditch area, it is a magical neighbourhood, where sustainability becomes tangible, in its small townish, old time feel, filled in by a contemporary mob. when next in london ...

... for now, different circus acts, over at helen's. tinyWOOLF must rest now. all this stretching!☻

  2. dearest Nadine i couldn't help, looking at all your wolves activities, thinking of all your activities (concerning your house renovation i mean), a little bit of symbolism here?

  4. Hello Woolfie! Lovely pic x There's a terrific circus called Giffords which I've seen a few times and one I'd love to see at the Eden Project called No Fit State which is quite wild!

o i hate captcha - i'm so not a robot even tho i've got it wrong 3 times now :-(

  5. really a wonderful drawing! I love the colours and the animals (altought I don't like them in a real circus, I feel sorry for them) The drawing looks like a lot of fun! wish you a nice weekend!

  6. Gorgeous!!!

I never knew woolfie was so skilled!
That nose stand must be a world first and juggling on a wheel most impressive. Colours are divines and dabbly texture just right.
I think I would like to live in Arnold Circus seems to be a lot of the 'right things' going on.

Helen from Down under and over a little bit to the right or is it left?

  9. I was wondering if you were designing the circus acts as metaphors for your own life as you juggle all your various tasks. I bet some days you feel like you're upside down and balancing on your nose and I'm sure you've put out quite a few 'fires' in your lifetime. Haven't we all?!
Love this, Nadine: the colors, the pencil strokes---that purplish border design you have going one is esp. cool!
So glad you didn't put clowns in---I do not like clowns---find them strange and scary.
    Rest now, tiny wolf>:>)

  10. Oh how talented this creature is. How refined. One of a kind. A brilliant spirit. I am entertained, awed at the skill and practice it must have taken to be this brilliant. I tip my hat to this spectacle of awesomeness. You captured it perfectly Nadine. Love this. *hugs* Norma, xo

  14. Such distinctive artistry! Funny enough, I've worn much maroon, cream and dove grey this past summer. Thankfully I was able to successfully pull off a very subdued 'traveling sense of performers!'
