drawing | shadow {and leftover stromboli}

· i'm a cheat. i've made a scan of a shadow. and i made it by accident. so i'm a double cheat. but guess what? cook invented his best recipes by accident. that is what i console me with. because i sincerely wanted to draw, and perhaps i do that still. but if the above is what you're getting on your screen this weekend, then i've just remained the cheat. {in the picture my latest craze. ackroyd's biography of london. oh yes. one thing ALWAYS leads to the next. that's basic physics. ☻}
· what if ariane collects so many shadows that we shame that fifties guitar group into a reenactment? ..

{this is previous post added for zing}
·
it started with a media snatch i couldn't quite place.
·
then francesca mentions stromboli in a reminiscent way. she goes on explaining about the film, which indeed makes up for a missing link in my failing memory, but i can't yet put my finger on it.

·
kelleyn mentions stromboli to be a device to clean away ice from ice rinks. a little investigation doesn't go a long way in this case, but offers me a zamboni, urging me to understand these italian names are trademarks.

·
just now then, a keen memory creeps back in : one hairy biker re-explaining how the culinary stromboli got its name. in their italian episod to bakeation, the bikers prepare al fresco a rolled-up pizza, not unlike a calzone, by its initial creator baptized a stromboli, after aforesaid movie.
·
now.
·
that is a circle.

·
and here i do put my finger on {even if in ~ unintended ~ full eruption}.
·
homemade tomato sauce enriched by a few vegetables and a good helping of mozzarella inside store bought pizza dough ~ roll it up ~ bake it.
·
bon appétit!
·
☻ we're off to the netherlands. if computer says yes, he'll autonomously publish a drawing challenge shadow this weekend.
·
ta-ta... ♥

  8. EErie ghostly nighttime shadows. How strong. How powerful. How they make me realize how small I am. I wonder what a forest would look like in the same paradigm shift. I think they'd be as powerful but less scary. Nature made is less scary than man made sometimes I think. *smiles* Norma

  11. Some of the best art is made by accidents. There is a book written about just that......I think it's called "Art Accidents" but I read it years ago.
    I like the way you've used the book cover and made the shadow. You may be a double cheat but you're a talented and honest one! Gotta love that, Nadine!
