drawing | i am aquarius

·
for 2150 years aquarius will rule our age. in retrogade following the recent age of pisces, we've landed ourselves at the very beginning of an interesting era.
·
executing a tad of research on the subject, we may actually not be in the clear about its exact kick-off.

·
let's stick to the sign. a friend of mine drew my horoscope a few years ago and calculated my aquarian liabilities, which in turn appear on no less then three levels, which is rich, in a calamitous way.
·
when my aquarian nature surfaces, i often find merry murphy in my vicinity though.
·
interestingly, in asian countries i hop about a happy bunny {read: rabbit / cat}, but in western europe i am carrying the water home.
·
i've tried bringing a few aforementioned elements together in one drawing.
·
however, shall we come close to a celestial troupe
·
thanks, all, for playing, and here are some signs you may wanna be looking into: patricehelenrenildejuliarosemaryvictoriatanïacarolelise bleenaarianekristen.

  1. I love your painting of the rabbit pouring away your aquarius water sign, beautifully imagined. So we are still in aquarius? it makes me think of the song from the musical, Hair - This is the dawning of the age of aquarius.

  2. Ditto what Rosemary had to say.
And one random fact about me: I know all the words to all the songs in Hair.

  10. Aquarius, associated with air, the mental, the mind, thinking o yes obvious.
how can i not love your drawing, the greens and blues, the combination, delightfully weird and gorgeous, i like those silvery stockings:)

In mijn waterman boekje staat een citaat van Robert Frost 'de weg in het bos splitste in twee, en ik -ik nam de weg die het minst werd genomen,en dat heeft het verschil gemaakt.'
ik herken je hier wel in ,x

  12. Enjoyed this immensely. I am aquarius also. Is my imagination working overtime or does the rabbit's head resemble an elaborate head of celery?!:>)

  13. It was also the song that came into my mind, when I read your words. Catchy tune, that stays in my head now. ;o)
Love your drawing, it's somehow very classical and I wondered whether you stitched on it, because it looks a bit 3-dimensional. The colours are beautiful as well.
Now, it took me much time, but I finally have my own drawing made this evening. Come and have a look, you can still guess what I am... ;o)
