cutting, cutting, cutting. and getting sore fingers from cutting up hundreds of pages. and when is the actual artwork gonna happen?
omg. how about when things go really pear shaped? used wrong glue, the shiny type that doesn't, erm dry up elegantly?
paper being my favourite resource in my studio anyhoo. and anywhere else too! jane's corner view, francesca's hosting.
My daughter would love to hang with you! She is always cutting, pasting, painting. It never stops.
ReplyDeleteI think the inelegant glue looks pretty good - it's quite an interesting effect at least!
ReplyDeleteFabulous paper art!
ReplyDeleteAs for the "wrong" glue - the texture is quite nice!
ReplyDeleteOne "mistake" a ruined artwork does not make! Love the colour combo you've got going on. xo Carole
ReplyDeletepaper paper paper....is your house made of paper too?
ReplyDeletei nearly think so! ;-)
So many things that can make with paper...just a bit of time and imagination.
ReplyDeleteReally nice work
Your paper creations are bursting with excitement!

I really like the houses in the first picture and the antiquated look of the lettering in the second. Lovely.(And yes, I have lots of time to clip!) :>)
ReplyDeleteThis summer we will be doing more art with paper ( maybe pinatas) Love the cards and the texture of glue is more character.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have the patience for it.
