here it comes again

·
"ooh-ooooh...
hey hey hey hey hey-ee-yea-ee-yeah...
·
here comes the rain again,
falling on my head like a memory,
falling on my head like a new emotion."
·
{dave stewart, for annie lennox}

·
a {past} saturday saturated with beaming sunlight.
·
a {past} sunday morning smothered in blankets of rain.
·
what to do in an unfamilar small town?

·
MOTI, breda prooved to be it. a gamble, and a good one at it. their running exhibition on the 21st century being just the thing, to jump out of the rain for: some one hundred dutch prominents offering their bird's eye view on the world, wall wide for the occasion.

·
is the world okay?
·
we wonder.
·
don't we?
·

·
when i heard play the rolling stones' I CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION in above installation, i found it to sum right up our modern western civilisation.
·
can i put it this way?
·
the lesser i know about the condition of the world,
the calmer i feel.
the more i catch a glimpse of worldly chaos,
the more i feel lost

·
to break away from this sunday morning intermezzo, there is always the town of breda.
·
in the pouring rain.
·
for some reason, we left early.
·
come and do a twirl with me
·

  2. I have not watched television in six weeks, just Mad Men and movies, no news. I also don't really catch up online either, a few blogs, yours :) and Facebook to catch up on all my friends at once. As a result, I know nothing, including what tim it is unless my computer is open. It has been quite the way to live :)

Oh no, my love's at an end.
    Oh no, it's raining again
and you know it's hard to pretend.
    Oh no, it's raining again
Too bad I'm losing a friend.
    Oh no, it's raining again
Oh will my heart ever mend.
    Oh no, it's raining again
You're old enough some people say
To read the signs and walk away
It's only time that heals the pain
And makes the sun come out again
    It's raining again

But...that little VW...how cute!! and this is in Breda?

  4. Oh ja waren ze er , die wolven, geweldig! en mooi, er mag er gerust eentje voorbij mijn muren komen rennen :)

You are right, we get overloaded with all kind of information(false or true is hard to find out), sometimes i wonder if we could put all the bad and all the good actions, the sadness and the happiness on this earth on a balance would it be on an even keel or would there be a preponderance on one side, and on which side would that be?

  5. Unfortunately, not knowing is not an option. i would feel calmer if i knew that some of what i do contributes to help the world - but i don't think it does. abysmal weather here too, for many reasons a little isolated tropical island sounds like a dream just now :)

  9. heehee loving the rain bonnet I keep seeing a Miss Woolf in a rain bonnet.....that furry fox on the wall is interesting too.

News can be made to be more depressing and critical than it is or less urgent and less serious than it is. It is called sensationalism and has been proven to effect the pysche of one or many. I try not to buy in and thank god we have the ABC here in Australia that at least gives a true picture of events.

Enjoy your travels Nadine toast me next time you stop at a watering hole.

  11. Thanks for taking me on these trips, great pleasure again!
Sometimes it's better to focus on our own small surrounding, on a free chosen delight, and keep the sad and boring of the world outside. Can't see anything wrong in that.
