ReplyDeletea propos: mr. paradis says that his bro with an allotment in s.e. london for 10 years already has not so far this spring succeeded in growing anything at all - the weather has been so miserable. so noone is having much luck, it seems. couldn't tell that by your pictures!

I'm sorry it's still so chilly there! I thought your weather would be lovely by now. Our weather is a bit odd too - still quite unseasonably warm but it has been very grey and wet this week. Nearly all the leaves have fallen from our trees and there are very few flowers to be seen anywhere - apart from on our choysia bushes below our bedroom window - dear little white treasures hanging on in there as autumn draws towards winter . . . I love your photographs by the way - particularly that delicious blue flower! Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteoh those little blue and purple ones!! so pretty!
ReplyDeleteand ... i love the leaf ... with a heart shaped hole!
We picked all the good things outside. Hope it warms up for you soon.
ReplyDeleteSorry, that should be "You" picked! I am pre-caffeine!
DeleteThe same bad weather in France.... Fortunately you have lovely (wet) flowers in your garden ;)
ReplyDeleteGood cheer!
I love the floral Woolf!
ReplyDeleteAnd the heart-shaped bite mark in the leaf!
It is rainy here in Massachusetts today, but we have had a flower-filled and dreamy spring!
<3
What are those tiny blue & purple flowers? They're so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat only 12°C!
ReplyDeleteIn here, that is in Eastern Finland, we've had some 18°C on average.. The chance form cold to warm has been so fast, that I need to remind myself not to put long johns on!
I like your captures! The details and focus!
I LOVE peonies! We used to have them in our garden when I grew up so they bring memories of my childhood. I love to bury my face in them when they are in full bloom, and especially after the rain. I don't have my garden now but some of our neighbours have peonies in their front garden and I let myself to smell them. It must look pretty weird but I just can't help it.
ReplyDeleteHugs xoxo
