clouded

in answering a few people's questions, what to do with {tiny} clouds indeed? it sure makes me wonder, after last night's wreckage at the youth music festival in the east of our tiny country. a few blistering clouds there did no good at all. hail beating down thick as snow, wind lifting trees from their grounds. son tottered home soaking wet, after a late night hike, with most of his pals. like with so many others, his eyes filled with harrowing disbelief. we are mourning the lives lost.

  4. I had such a good experience at the Pukkelpop. I was "happy" to know that for the 1st time in 6 years, my sister didn't go there this year. I feel so sad since yesterday...

  5. I haven't read, seen or heard anything about this Nadine...surely Australia isn't that far away from you...
Whatever happened, I'm glad to hear your son made it home safely...wet and obviously very upset by what he witnessed (?) but in one piece none-the-less...I worry when my daughter goes to these big musical festivals too, but what can you do...we all went to them when we were younger...back in the days of Mozart etc...

  6. i've just been reading about it. what a terrible thing. and even more bizarre, the same thing just happened at the indiana state fair. i'm so glad your son was unharmed, and my heart goes out to those who are grieving today...

  7. Kers, I had no idea when I told you about our wind gust that collapsed the stage at the Indiana State Fair and killed people that in a very few days that cloud would come over to Belgium and emit that same poison. It just makes me sick and we must all remember that Mother Nature is more powerful than we are.

  8. Goodness, the seasons can be trying and terrifying sometimes.
PS. Did you know I have a 'thing' for clouds? I surely love them in all their forms.
