to know an alga is to love one. i've always looked for an excuse to draw algae, so i do feel chuffed.
·
i threw in a jellyfish as well. ☻
·
{i made do with vintage musical paper for backing, since my blotter ran out of pages. and i've run out of sketchbook too. off to the shops for a new one!}

  6. I like that paper
    it fits the theme so well
    and I love your work
    it always makes me smile
    I think it is because that there is
    music in your lines
    in the way you draw
    and as always I love
    your colors

  8. I love the way you put them in their own page/frame. I was going to draw a jellyfish but really ran out of time so I did a tiny jelly creature. Your jelly fish is awesome. I also really like sea plant life, so I am enjoying your work very much! *smiles* Norma

  10. Dear Nadeschda,
    wonderful drawings! And I like it very much that you've added the names of the seaweed and jellyfish in Latin language... like on old coloured engraving.

    Love,
