every day like sunday

while august raindrops are rejoicing small victory on the window panes, i’m sitting a little aimlessly behind the new laptop, actually missing my desktop and all its habitual features. are you a singleton such as me who loses way in this myriad of programs to download, the next grueling step only being falling short of making the right choice? If this be so, please join my sunday club of miseries, and pour yourself a cuppa. i think i’m gonna pull the curtains, and the bed sheets for that matter, and stock up on long gone straightforward sundays, simply filled with library books and a handwritten diary.

  1. Ohhh, I HATE getting used to a new computer. They may do wonderful things, but before they do, there is so much to learn!

I think I like the idea of those straightforward Sundays filled with books, tea and journaling.

  4. Opgelapt staat netjes, heeft hij een querty-klavier? Een nieuw huis, nieuwe laptop en zeggen dat 'the feel' van jouw webstek hier 'handmade' is. Waar gaat dat eindigen :)

balance btw old-fashioned books + new-fashioned blogs is the way to go, don't you reckon? answers on a postcards on how to do it, though :)

  6. I loved getting red of my ancient desktop and switching to a macbook! And the best part is that everything works well and fast.
