the word (the way it sounds in german) has kept me on guard. in flemish it is afbeelding. having rummaged in my vintage box for previous post inspiration, i decided to play about in my simonnetta, for a change. ☻ ps - what an incredible fantin-latour interpretation, ariane! you have shot a more than graceful image of the original painting. abbild-er, chez ariane this weekend.
"as the girl opened her green gold box,
the image she found made her dream of high summer".
☻
'high summer' the sound of those words on its own...and yes there are still lots of green around, a late rose, a persistent hollyhock but the real image has gone and yes may only be found for now in a green gold box, beautiful green and gold sweetie, xx
