i read the lulling leafy veils of the weeping willow from memory. it has always been a tree waving about melancholic airs, reminding me of childhood friendships of the innocent kind, those we lose growing up. symbolising emotion, intuition and dreaming {apparantly}, i think i may have fallen in love all over again. carole, loved the theme!

Hey Nadine, it's hard to fall out of love with a willow of any sort. The pussy willow is soft, the willow tree is wonderful, and most women named Willow are cool! LOVE your willow tree's leaves! xo Carole

I am struck by how your wonderful collage could be an illustration of Carole's memory of her willow hideaway - we are all connected, eh?! This has me dreaming, too, Nadine. xxoo, sus
ReplyDeleteYour photomontage is quite nostalgic in weeping and touchingly delicate terms. The imagery and thoughts approach the mark of an exceptional dream that was captured during one of our most precious moments in time.

It is true, willows do remind us of childhood. . .though maybe as adults we should climb more trees.
ReplyDeleteYour leaves and tree are marvelous. Fresh spring green and a question--do we look ahead or think back on the past?
